World War II Allied Aircraft Crashes in the Netherlands & North Sea " (now also the English Channel) website was launched! https://www.airwar4045.nl/ The purpose of the website is to help researchers, family members and anyone interested, to search for information on WW-II aircraft crashes in Holland, North Sea, and the English Channel. At present, the database lists the detailed information on 1462 crashed aircraft, 6842 crew members (of which 1361 USAAF), and 709 cemeteries/memorials (of which 345 in the USA)... Please note that not (yet) all crashes are available in the database, though it is gradually filled with more data... (See "Modifications" button on the website). The address to go to is: https://www.airwar4045.nl The website has no advertising, no tracking and is free to use...
Any comments/corrections and/or more information is most welcome...
Greetings from Texel island,
(John in English)
P.S. The web site may also work on a tablet, but it's more difficult to handle because listing are not shown the way they should be (a common problem with tablets); You have to do more, in a not so easy way, to get all the data.
