I bought this on ebay. I'll have it in a couple days. I bought it because it says Prop, US Navy. I don't recolonize what it is. My guess is it's a missile head maintenance stand. It's solid cobalt blue glass and 110mm in diameter.

Anybody know what this could be?

Thanks
Troy

Well I thought because it is glass, non-sparking and non-conductive that it would be perfect for holding a missile head. I've spent the last week or so asking all the old timers here a China Lake, but nobody knows what it is.

It also might be some kind of beaker holder from a medical lab. ????

Is it threaded underneath? Like an insulator?

Would make a nice ashtray.

No it's not threaded or flat. It's all one thickness and the bottom is a mirror image of the top.
