Travis B-29 crash (Broken Arrow) presentation and site survey by Dave Trojan, (permission has been granted to search the crash site for artifacts (Bring your metal detectors or sharp eyes!))

If you would like to give a presentation on your discoveries or an aviation archeology related subject please email me. Also, If there is a subject or crash site that you are interested in and want a presentation about it send me your requests.

Tenative "KC-135 crash site in Michigan" by Dave Trojan/Jeff Benya

"Treesearching" technique, using the trees from crash reports and then finding those same trees on old aerial imagery then comparing that to modern imagery to find the crash site, by

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT BASE ACCESS

Due to recent changes in the Travis AFB visitor policy this is the current plan

If you do not have military base access privileges:

Meet in the SUBWAY parking lot located on the corner of Air Base Parkway and Parker Road. Between 0800-0845 both Saturday and Sunday

You will then be escorted onto the base.

 

Subway Sandwich Place and Fast Food Restaurant

628 Parker Rd (Airbase parkway), Fairfield, CA 94533

 

If you have base access meet at the Travis AFB Museum and Heritage Center
