Dave, thanks for a great weekend of presentations and events. It was great seeing everyone  again and meeting new people.

I've attached a few photos, one of all the items we found at the Travis AFB B-29 crash site. My son and I dug out the large melted aluminum piece up top and Ken found some smashed instruments with gears that looked like they were brand new inside. A few pieces had some markings on them, but nothing that could be directly traced without further research.

The other three photos were from the F8F hike, a photo of some of the typical debris there at the site, one photo of the entire group (special thanks to my camera's self timer and my hiking stick/monopod), and a photo of one of the two new friends we made, this one was hiding underneath a large piece of the debris.

Dave did a great job of putting this together. The presentations were great (even though I was only able to see the Saturday ones) and I really liked checking out all of the stuff in the museum. I also had a fun time on the hike to the F8F. Thanks Dave!

I have posted my photos of the two crash site visits.

Travis AFB B-29: http://www.flickr.com/photos/sixbyfire/sets/72157644386500016/

F8F Bearcat: http://www.flickr.com/photos/sixbyfire/sets/72157644026658117/

If you are in any of these photos and you wish to use them, feel free to do so with proper credit. The group shot in the F8F page can be used as needed since nobody really took it per se, it was my camera on self timer but was taken as a photo that anyone could use without restriction.
