Bought a big stack of old wreck photos . . . this one was in there.
Any ideas on the pilots or crash?
The pilot in the dark flight suit has a name tag "THOMPSON". It doesn't really look like Milt Thompson but I am not sure. He wasn't that balding?
The pilot laying down in the full pressure suit with helmet ring, I just cant tell. I cannot read his name tag at all. It appears to be a long name in cursive script, maybe even three words with two words underneath.
The back of the photo has nothing on it except it might read "11 Aug" (not sure about that). No year.
The other photos are all mid to late 1960s (though a few are late-50s).
Does anyone recognize this mishap?
