I'm re-posting this from another forum.
maybe someone here can help
this part was found in a field in southern Denmark.
can anyone ID this part to type of aircraft?
ink stamped part number prefix does not go with a P-40. it must be from something else.

Looks jet.  Not WWII.  Black exterior.

Maybe English Electric Canberra.  I think it carries p/n 81.

Where was it found?

Night Intruder?

Not a US Night Intruder.
Brit Canberra.

Lacking a parts manual for the English Electric Canberra...here's some parts on Ebay (81) :

In a field in southern Denmark.
Yes, English Electric Canberra is the most likely aircraft

I've poked around a bit and am skeptical of it being an English Electric.  The PN format isn't what I've seen on other English Electric parts online.
