NASA has made a number of new aeronautics books available as free downloads -- or you can follow the links to buy hard copies if you'd like.

There are a couple of Pete Merlin books including his "Crash Course" about UAVs and "Breaking the Mishap Chain" which is a lessons-learned review of a number of incidents and accidents.

Dennis Jenkins' "Dressing for Altitude: U.S. Aviation Pressure Suits - Wiley Post to Space Shuttle" is available as a free download as well ($75 hard copy).

And Fred Johnsen's new book on the X-29 can be yours electronically for free.

Visit this page for downloads:

Enjoy.
