Wanted to let you know that Dave McCurry's long-awaited book "Aircraft Wrecks of the Pacific Northwest" has been released. Congratulations, Dave!

Apparently the books just came in. Dave sent the following message this morning:

My new book, Aircraft Wrecks of the Pacific Northwest is now available for purchase. This 8 1/2 x 11" full color book is 241 pages, including 33 chapters describing various military and commercial aircraft crash sites as they still exist throughout the northwest region today.

Books are available through me at a cost of $49.95 with free shipping throughout the United States. Copies can also be purchased through Merriam Press or Amazon Books at the same cost.

Anyone interested in purchasing a copy from me can make payment though PayPal at: dvmccurry@yahoo.com or by mailing a personal check, cashiers check, or money order to:

David L. McCurry

Thanks for your interest,

Dave

Excellent book.

Very nice work and hat's off to the authors.

Got my copy Thursday via Amazon and just finished.

The color photos are a bonus!

Great research and heartfelt journeys, all of them.   I really enjoyed it.

My favorites:  the DC-9, P-38 involving JPAC, and C-124.

You set the bar for wreck hunt tomes.

Looking forward to Volume II.

I received mine yesterday.  Glad to see the Wilbur Perez Cape LookOut B-17 was in there.  TM

I just got my copy today from Amazon.com, I only skimmed through it, but the photos are amazing and the few stories I glanced at seemed well put together. I don't collect ALL books aircraft crash related, but even for casual collectors, I think this is a worthwhile addition to anyone's library.
