Last week I drove out to Anza-Borrego Desert State Park to search for the site of the F-8J #150850 that crashed on 11/2/68 killing the pilot Lt. Michael C. Emmett. I failed at locating the site about ten years ago, but this time armed with a little more information, I was able to find it. It turned out to be a really interesting site with most of the aircraft's wreckage remaining. Photos can be seen are HERE

Thanks guys,

It felt good to get out. Visiting that site got my interest up in doing another one. Trying to figure out which site I like to try next.
