 A team of Aviation Archaeologists from Memorial University of Newfoundland recorded and surveyed a number of crash sites in Newfoundland and Labrador Canada. Including B-24 Liberator #44-42169. Finding were  published in a recent issue of the

Canadian Aviation Historical Society Journal Summer 2013. See pages 54-63 in the following link:
