Walt Holm is considering chartering a boat on Monday after the conference and using his sonar equipment to “image” the Lake Mead B-29. He would like to know if there are any other interested in joining him.

The more I hear about the upcoming conference, the more jealous I am that I cannot attend! Wish I could.

The topics look great! I'm very excited to be attending.

Looking for oppportunity to catch a ride here and there to the conference.

I had planned on staying Monday to visit Hoover Dam and the permanent Titanic display at the Luxor. Didn't know about the underwater B-29 demo before planning this.

Thanks~ Jana

The water level at the lake is so low these days you are going to be able to image it with a camera before long.

All joking aside, does anybody know how deep that thing is?  And yes, i would be interested in going monday.

Regarding the B-29 in Lake Mead - methinks this article sums up the experience, as http://www.divetheb29.com is kaput...

I will probably be attending...will find out in the next few days if I can make it or not.  I live in Vegas and have base access; just waiting to see if we will have overtime work scheduled that weekend.

I just updated the presentation list in post # 31 above.

We currently have a little over 10 hours of presentations lined up. By the time you add in breaks and Q&A, I doubt we will do a full 8 hours worth of presentations on Saturday, so Sunday will likely be a half day and I will have a site visit lined up if we end early enough.
