Gidday David - I finally sorted out my access to this Message Board. Had to change my e-mail address.

I was going to post a link to my Aircraft Crashes in Australia web page but I see you have beaten me to the punch way back in 2006. Anyway I'll post it again.

So there are now well over 2,000 military aircraft crashes documented on the site so far that happened in Australia during WWII. I reckon I will get close to 5,000 eventually. An awful lot of lives lost in non-combat accidents in Australia during WWII.

As per my e-mail, I also have an interest in the Japanese aircraft that were rebuilt inside Hangar 7 at Eagle Farm Airfield in Brisbane by the Allied Technical Air Intelligence Unit during WWII. Hangar 7 is heritage listed and I visited the hangar on Friday.

Regards Peter Dunn
