Just wanted to say thank you to all who organized the AAHA conference and to those who made presentations. Very well done and Nellis is a premier venue.

I'd also like to also thank Craig Fuller for taking the group to two nice wreck sites and keeping us all safe.

Personally, I really appreciated the opportunity to meet those that attended and share wreckchasing stories. As others have said it's always nice to finally put a face with the name.

I'm impressed by the caliber of the people that wreckchase. All seem to share a common concern for getting this right and the importance of educating the public in the preservation of the sites we discover and visit.

Looking forward to our next meeting.

Stay safe.

Well said, Sam. I said most of the same thing in another thread but would like to add that I was surprised by the many different angles of approach that each person brought to essentially the same idea. Some come at it from a why did this plane crash? Others are parts ID guys, some are history of the plane. Still others are history of the people involved. Some are more technical than others. I was really intrigued by the forgotten airfields/beacons angle....I know of several in my area I can check out and hadn't really thought of them in this light before.

Thanks, again to all!

I'd like to say thanks as well.  I worked a long day Friday so missed the field trip and had to be back Sunday so it was only a Saturday trip for me but well worth it.  Good to put faces to names and see what others folks have been doing.

I would like to add my thanks for a great conference. I was not sure what to expect when I registered but what a great conference. The Friday field trip was outstanding and the sites historic. Craig you provided a great experience. The presentations were excellent, informative and very interesting. The ability to network and meet others with an interest in aviation archeology was extremely valuable and rewarding. Craig and Brian thank you very much for a wonderful time. Dave Mihalik
