Is anybody out there familiar with this law? I just heard about it while on vacation. It seems to supersede the laws on non-Navy aircraft, and contains a line that could pertain to wrecks that are not submerged. It sucks!  Dennis

The Naval History Agency website has a write-up on the act.  The Act was part of the 2005 National Defense Authorization Act:

The line in question regards military craft "anywhere in the world". I doubt it would stand up to legal scrutiny if someone tried to apply the act to dry land, as the rest of the act clearly deals with "sunken" craft.
